About Laura Zwald
I am an enthusiastic student attending Flowery Branch High School, currently rounding the end of my senior year. I plan to attend the University of Georgia in the fall of 2015, where I will further my education in hopes of achieving my dream of becoming an orthopedic surgeon. My entire life I have been involved in various athletic endeavors, most importantly, soccer. I've played for some of the most competitive soccer teams available for my specific age groups, including Elite, ECNL, Super Y, and of course, high school Varsity for the Lady Falcons. Throughout my athletic career, I've witnessed all kinds of injuries ranging from spinal injuries to sprained ankles, but the ACL also evoked my interest the most. Experiences like these led me to apply for Honors Mentorship and be mentored under the insanely intelligent and experienced, Dr. Amy Borrow. I have already learned so much and will always remember this enlightening opportunity.
